Description

Probable Cause

• Not allowing enough drying and curing time for the paint

• Applying the finsih coat before the primer has properly dried

• Selecting a paint product not well suited for shelving and cabinet use

• Premature placement of excessive weighty objects on shelves

Solutions

• Allow the full curing time recommendation before putting the surface back into service

• The prime coat must dry the recommended time before applying the finish coat

• Apply with a uniform spread rate
